Does the lookup prove the person signing up is the CPF holder?
Not on its own. It confirms the CPF and birth date exist together in the official records and returns the name. To prove it is the person, add a liveness check.
How do I compare names with accents or abbreviations?
The API returns the official name. Normalize accents, case and spaces on both sides before comparing, and decide how much difference your process accepts.
How much does it cost?
