Age control for social networks

Look up the CPF at signup and confirm the official birth date before creating the account. Minors stay out of what is not meant for them, and you keep a record of what was verified.

Free plan with 20 lookups per month. No credit card.

The cost of doing nothing

Without a real check, the risk lands on your company.

Liability

Platforms that fail to protect children and teenagers can face administrative sanctions and lawsuits.

Service restrictions

Ignoring child-protection rules and orders can lead to court measures, including restrictions on the service.

LGPD fines

Handling minors’ data without the required safeguards can mean a fine of up to 2% of revenue, capped at R$ 50 million per violation.

Industry challenges

Self-declared birth dates

Anyone can type a false date. Without a check, the age filter filters nothing.

Inappropriate content within reach of minors

Without knowing the real age, the feed recommends and shows content indiscriminately.

Consent that is hard to prove

Minors’ data needs extra care, and the platform must show what it did to verify.

LGPD — art. 14

Requires specific care when handling children’s and teenagers’ data, always in their best interest.

Marco Civil da Internet — Law 12,965/2014

Every lookup is kept in your dashboard history with a masked CPF, date, result and response time, to support audits and compliance reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it to keep out users under 13 or 18?

The API returns the birth date linked to the CPF. You apply whichever age rule your platform requires.

Could the CPF belong to someone else?

Yes. A lookup confirms the CPF exists and who it belongs to, not who is typing. Compare the name provided and, in risky cases, add a liveness check.

How much does it cost?

Each successful lookup uses 1 credit. Invalid or not found CPFs are not charged. The free plan includes 20 lookups per month and Pro plans start at R$ 29.
